EXPLORING THE VALLEY: An arts-science collaboration between Chrystal Cherniwchan and Jon Keating
Two great mountain ranges: Physics, concerned with the forces of Nature and how those forces cause change, and Number Theory, the study of numbers. Science and Mathematics. Real and abstract. Electrons, atoms and light; primes, fractions and equations. Each range of mountains beautiful and subtle, climbed, explored and charted for millenia. Each with high peaks and breathtaking views. And now, for the first time, we begin to enter the unexpected valley connecting them. New paths, new perspectives, new questions, new answers. New connections shedding new light on old problems. A rich new land to explore.
